It’s Wednesday, here’s what’s making news this week:
- A recent study by the University of Montreal revealed female physicians outperform male physicians on many metrics when it comes to patient care. Eight hundred seventy physicians were recruited and their treatment of diabetes patients was closely monitored. In all three metrics accounted for, women outranked their male counterparts. - The third annual 2020 Women on Boards Gender Diversity Index of Fortune 100 Companies revealed women are continuing to make gains in the boardrooms of Fortune 100 companies. In 2013, women held 16.6% of board seats of these companies. Check out the rest of the key findings of the study here.
