60 Female Executives Share Their Secrets to Success

- Lauren Ready of the International Consortium of Executive Development Research knew the best way to get advice for women in the workforce about propelling their careers forward would be to go straight to the source. So, she surveyed 60 of the top female executives around the globe and had them define success and how to achieve it. Some of their advice? Be flexible and don’t try to be one of the guys. But a gender gap still exists in many aspects of the world. Walmart plans to double its sourcing from women-owned enterprises by means of its Women’s Economic Empowerment Initiative.
