Fortune 500 Female CEOs at All-Time High

    The number of female CEOs on to the Fortune 500 list is at an all-time high of 24!  Although this is an increase of 20 from last year, it still counts as less than 5%.  Click here to see the full roster of female CEOs.

  • The United States ranks number one as the best country for female entrepreneurs to prosper, according to the second annual Gender-GEDI ranking by Dell.  The report found more than 75% of the 30 countries surveyed did not meet fundamental conditions necessary for female entrepreneurs to find success.
  • In an interview with ITBusinessEdge, Frances Kweller, the founder of Kweller Prep, offers advice to other women entrepreneurs.  Two key pieces she considers to be very important is to “Go it Alone” and become tech-savy.
  • Caroline Ghosn, founder and CEO of Levo , reports for Fast Company on the importance of mentorships to your career and offers 3 tips to getting the most out of it.  The main take-away – “Mentorship is not about you.”
