2019 Ignite Wellness FAQs

What’s the difference between the Ignite Wellness agenda on June 26 and June 27?

On June 26, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, in partnership with the American Heart Association and National Council for Behavioral Health, will showcase how the private sector disrupts, revolutionizes, and inspires to improve the well-being of society at large. Highlighting innovative trends and cutting-edge technology in health and wellness, this day of Ignite Wellness will feature:

  • Innovative partnerships to improve community wellness.
  • Methods for fostering mental health awareness.
  • Initiatives that address disparities to improve health outcomes.
  • Approaches to wellness programs that incorporate groundbreaking techniques to maximize employee well-being, both inside and outside the workplace.

The event on June 26 is open to the general public.

On June 27, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation and National Council for Behavioral Health will hold a special, free event focused on mental health and emotional well-being tailored to corporate social responsibility leaders, human resources executives, and decision makers. This day will provide creative ideas and solutions to incorporate emotional wellness into the workplace. The day will also include a four-hour Mental Health First Aid at Work training on how to support colleagues to help build a more resilient and productive workforce.
