Anirban Mukerji is Senior Manager within Qualcomm’s Government Affairs department. Based in New Delhi, India, he manages Qualcomm’s Wireless Reach™ initiatives in India and South Asia.

Anirban has over 20 years of diversified business, governmental and information technology (IT) experience. Prior to joining Qualcomm in October 2012, he was Senior Consultant with the National e-Governance Division. In this role, he implemented the E-District Project for the Government of India’s Department of Electronics and Information Technology. During a previous assignment with the State Government of Karnataka, he assisted with the establishment of 800 telecenters in rural Karnataka to provide citizens with access to important government services.
Anirban’s business sector experience includes roles at IBM and HP. As National Manager of e-Governance Solutions for IBM, he established key relationships between the company, senior state government officials and leading IT system integrators. As a manager in HP’s Kuppam HP i-community program, he developed an ecosystem of strategic partners and new business ideas to advance the company’s initiative for sustaining technology-based, socio-economic development in rural communities.
Anirban received his Postgraduate Diploma in rural management from the Institute of Rural Management, Anand, and his Bachelor’s of Science degree in mathematics from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi.
