Carolina Bedoya is a New York based artist and designer educated at SUNY Purchase with a degree in Fine Arts. Bedoya has a passion for sustainable design, textiles and remanufacturing operational systems. Through her work she explores the possibilities of extending the lifecycle of post-consumer “waste” by either creating textile art or entirely new garments. Carolina is currently working as an Inventory and Operational Manager at Eileen Fisher Renew. Her work has been featured at the Brooklyn Invisible Dog Art Gallery, Lisa Cooley Gallery in NYC, and Ventura Centrale Design Expo in Milan. In addition, one of her masterpieces is part of the Smithsonian Collection at the Cooper Hewitt Museum.
