Danielle Robinson began her career at Jackson in May 2006 to create the company’s first-ever Corporate Social Responsibility program. The Jackson National Community Fund and Jackson in Action were launched in 2007 and since that time, Jackson has awarded more than $28 million in grants and matching gifts to nonprofits across the US and increased its associate volunteer time from 1,200 hours annually to more than 30,000 hours. Jackson was named Most Outstanding Corporate Citizen by the Michigan Association of Fundraising Professionals in 2009, was one of the top five finalists for the Governor’s Service Award in 2010 and 2014 and has won numerous other industry and community awards since 2007. Jackson has been recognized with the U.S. President’s Volunteer Service Award for the company’s more than 5,000 volunteer hours annually with Junior Achievement.  
In 2007, Jackson established the Jackson Charitable Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit with the mission to advance financial education in the U.S. Robinson serves as the Foundation’s Executive Director and oversees its work teaching the basics of personal finance to more than 1 million students annually in classrooms across the country.  
Robinson serves on the board of the Capital Region Community Foundation and is a member of the Council of Michigan Foundations. She volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys & Girls Club, Ele’s Place, Junior Achievement, Meals on Wheels, Mother Teresa House, Volunteers of America and the St. John’s Music Ministry. She graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in communications and specialization in public relations in May 2006. Before coming to Jackson, she worked with the Michigan Department of Education, The Rossman Group (now Truscott Rossman) and Marketing Resource Group. Robinson and her husband Ryan own a home in downtown Lansing and are both Michigan natives.
