Deloris Wilson is an ecosystem builder, strategist, and social entrepreneur committed to promoting equity and inclusion worldwide. In her dual-role as Head of Strategy and Operations at BEACON: The D.C. Women Founders Initiative and the Inclusive Innovation Fellow at Georgetown Law's Tech Institute, she advises on entrepreneurial ecosystem development for women and people of color, while providing direct support to a community of over 400 women business owners. As Founder/Lead Strategist of AXL (aksel), she provides data-driven insight to impact investment, affordable housing, and economic development initiatives designed to alleviate poverty and maximize social returns. With clients including Alice - a free website that helps business owners find the right path to start and grow their companies, the Beeck Center for Social Impact, Black Girl Ventures, and the Minority Business Development Agency, Deloris aims to leverage public and private sector engagement to enhance equity and inclusion for all.
As a graduate of Spelman College (BA), Harvard University (MPA), and Georgetown Law (JD), Deloris also serves as an advisor to the Street Entrepreneurs Investors' Exchange, WE Empower/UN Women, and several start-up social enterprises.
