Eric Jeffay, currently the General Manager of Pineapple and Pearls, is a Restaurant Operator with experience running multiple Michelin Starred restaurants in New York City, Washington D.C. and Los Angeles. After working in kitchens and graduating from Culinary School with High Honors, Eric transitioned to Front of the House Operations. Eric began his career at the three Michelin starred Per Se in New York City with Thomas Keller, managed the two Michelin starred minibar by José Andrés and opened the two Michelin starred Somni, again with Chef José Andrés. In his current role, Eric believes deeply in Pineapple and Pearls’ mission of creating the most enjoyable restaurant for employees to work and guests to dine. That includes ensuring all guests and staff feel truly welcome to take part in the experience. Within this framework, Eric is responsible for the multiple disciplines within restaurant management including human resource management, finance, marketing, public relations, and operations and uses his experience to build inclusive, fair systems throughout.
