Heather K. Morgan, CFRE, Chief Development Officer, is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) with 30 years’ experience in generating revenue for health causes. She currently serves as Chief Development Officer for Mary’s Center, a community health center serving nearly 50,000 participants in DC/MD with a $60MM+ annual budget. Before joining the Mary’s Center team, Ms. Morgan served as the Chief Development Officer for Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA), a nonprofit focused on addressing the childhood obesity crisis with honorary chair Former First Lady Michelle Obama. Prior to that, she served as Vice President for Development at the American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR). During her 26-year tenure with AICR, Ms. Morgan served in various fund development roles, helping to grow and diversify AICR’s funding base. Ms. Morgan earned her Certified Fund Raising Executive certification in 1993. She received a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, MA. She resides in Maryland with her husband, two teenage children and two pugs.
