Elizabeth K. Eickman is the director of the Kirkpatrick Family Fund, an affiliated fund of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation. For over 25 years the Kirkpatrick Family Fund has made philanthropic investments in the ideas and leadership that advance the cultural, intellectual and social interest of the community. Liz oversees a multi-state grants program as well as special initiatives which emphasize arts education, the role of arts in community development and an important health concern for Oklahoma – the reduction of teen pregnancy.
Liz serves as advisor to the Kirkpatrick Foundation Board of Trustees and the Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center. She is on the board of Green Box Arts Project, the Cultural Development Corporation of Central Oklahoma plus she is a commissioner for the Oklahoma City Arts Commission and is active with Philanthropy Southwest. She recently Co-chair the Comprehensive Public Art Master Plan Steering Committee for Oklahoma City and served on the MAPS 1% Public Art Approach Sub-Committee. Liz has been active with the Wellness Now Coalition an initiative of the Oklahoma City/County Health Department on the Leadership Team and as Co-chair of the Adolescent Health Work Group focusing on the reduction of teen pregnancy in central Oklahoma.
