Nancy Testa currently serves as the Senior HR Business Partner for Global Merchant Services & Loyalty Group (GMS & LG). In this role Nancy is responsible for building Human Capital strategy, driving organizational effectiveness and strategic talent management for GMS & LG executives to support top business priorities. In addition, Nancy was recently appointed as the Chief Diversity Officer of American Express.
Prior to American Express, Nancy worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. As the Head of Leadership Development for Global Banking and Markets where she was responsible for all talent management, leadership development and organization effectiveness initiatives across the Corporate and Investment Banking, Sales, and Trading businesses. Prior to this, Nancy held positions in Hong Kong as an HR Executive for several businesses across the Asia Pacific region and as the Head of Recruitment for the Asia Pacific Region. Nancy also has experience from Wells Fargo (Hong Kong and USA) and Ingersoll Rand where she was based in Shanghai, China.
Nancy received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from The University of North Carolina and a master’s degree in organizational management from Capella University in Minnesota. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management with a Senior Professional of Human Resources certification.
Nancy and her husband Mark reside in New Jersey with their three dogs, Molly, Remy and Jack. In her free time she enjoys reading, biking and exploring the city.
