Terry Weisz is Vice President of Global Internal Communications for Marriott International, Inc. She is responsible for enterprisewide internal communications strategy development, design and deployment. There are approximately 325,000 employees at Marriott headquarters, managed and franchised properties worldwide.
Her department serves as the communications link that helps perpetuate Marriott’s culture and advances the company’s business strategy and objectives. Responsibilities include providing consultative communications support to internal business units; creating communication strategies and deliverables for specific disciplines and business segments; developing communications tools for Marriott operations; and convening the company’s Global Internal Communications Advisory Board.
Key initiatives include managing Marriott’s annual internal communications strategy; developing and managing strategic communication vehicles; and creating and implementing effective, fully integrated communications programs for targeted audiences worldwide.
With more than 25 years of experience as a communications professional, Terry is a member of IABC, the International Association of Business Communicators.
