I had the good fortune to attend the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Fourth Annual Sustainability and Circular Economy Summit.
United Airlines recently announced a total of $8 million in grants to help address pressing issues in each of its hub market communities across the country, including Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Newark/New York, and Washington, D.C.
It’s Red Nose Day! And, today, workplaces, families and communities across the U.S. are coming together to have fun and make a difference, raising money and awareness for children in need.
At the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, we believe businesses have a critical role to play in improving the communities where we live, work, and play. Because when communities do well, so does business. This same belief was the backdrop of a recent event hosted by the U.S.
To usher in transformational change, we must first understand that family, community, business, health, education, technology, environment, and culture are all major pillars in society.
Recycling initiatives are nothing new, but companies that depend on efficient hazardous waste management should be keen to the infrastructure that is operating right now and dedicated to those who need to know how to achieve zero waste.
A resilient and sustainable world is not easily created. As a global community, we must constantly innovate and collaborate to ensure a bright future for all.
