In 2012, the company created The Kane Furniture Bank as an environmentally-sustainable alternative for customers looking to dispose their usable excess office furniture. The program keeps the furniture out of landfills and instead makes the items available to local nonprofit organizations at no cost to them. This program has distributed over 140 tractor trailer loads of furniture to nearly 300 nonprofits throughout the Greater Washington, D.C. region.
