Southwest’s Ground Support Equipment (GSE) plays a crucial role in getting their customers to their destinations safely and on time. As part of its ongoing program to modernize its GSE fleet, Southwest recently invested $7.9 million in electric vehicles. Replacing fossil-fuel vehicles with electric ones saves fuel, reduces our operating costs, and bolsters efforts to provide low-cost air travel.
