The Human Capital Factor: Our Greatest Asset - San Diego, California

Tuesday, April 23, 2013 - 1:00pm

The San Diego North Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the Institute for a Competitive Workforce to host a community forum to discuss real and relevant education and workforce topics and explore how the San Diego community of educators, academics, business leaders, and parents can work together to create and compete for the high-quality jobs and careers of today, and of tomorrow.

The local event will take part in two sessions. The first segment will consist of a keynote address, two moderated panel discussions addressing various workforce topics, and break-out sessions. Panelists will include leaders from government, education, workforce development and the business sectors. The second segment will include a private screening of the movie Won't Back Down, the story of a single mother’s challenge to create meaningful change in her child’s school.
