Helen leads Forum’s work in the US. Her recent projects include working with Nike, Target and McDonald’s on sustainable business strategy; strategy development for the Forest Stewardship Council and Rainforest Alliance, and Forum’s Retail Horizons project, a collaboration with the Retail Industry Leaders Association exploring the future of US retail in 2030. She is currently leading Forum’s Beauty and Personal Care Innovation Accelerator project – working with Target and Walmart on a cross-industry sustainability summit looking at personal care and beauty products.
Helen joined Forum in 2007 from Doctors without Borders where she worked for six years, first working in the field in Nigeria, Sudan, Pakistan and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), and then in the UK office as Director of Finance. Originally she trained as an accountant with Deloitte. After three years at Forum as a Deputy Director, Helen was given the job of establishing and leading Forum’s US operations.
Helen has a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from Cambridge University, and a Masters in Business Strategy, Politics and the Environment from Birkbeck College, University of London.
