Nathalie Chalmers graduated from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva with a Master in International Relations. She obtained her MPA in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University in New York City.
Her professional career started in the International Aid Unit of Eli Lilly, where she assisted the Unit Head. She then worked as a Research Assistant to the Executive Director of the Earth Institute at Columbia University; helping write a book on Sustainability Management. Nathalie has been with the World Economic Forum since 2009, where she started in the Programme Development Team curating, designing and developing the sustainability and environment agendas for key annual events like the Davos meeting; as well as curating the overall agenda for the World Economic Forum on Africa.
Nathalie is currently Project Lead in the Environmental Initiatives Team of the World Economic Forum, where she is managing the Circular Economy Initiative.
