Pete is the Director of Food Waste strategy and execution for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in Washington D.C. and works in collaboration with WWF's Market Transformation Initiative and Food Team goals. Pete has led national and local sustainability programs including retail grocery projects across 2,000 grocery stores in 37 states. Pete has 10+ years of technology experience as an operations analyst and project manager with companies including Hewlett-Packard, Accenture and Albertsons. He received a BS in Information Systems from the University of Idaho and obtained an MBA in Sustainable Business Management from Green Mountain College in Vermont. He has worked as an independent consultant and is co-founder of Solstice Enterprises; he is a partner with Transcend Productions, a film production company specializing in documentary story telling. Transcend's most recent documentary project is ToLiveLocal.com. Pete is also the co-founder of the Idaho Center for Sustainable Agriculture. He currently lives in Washington D.C. with his wife Ashley (an ER nurse), his daughter Maryn (4th grade), and his son Kai (kindergarten).
