Emma Pelaez is the owner and director of “A tu Salud”. She has 20 years of experience working in different companies. In 2005, she took the challenge of developing her own business, becoming a supplier of Walmart Mexico in 2012. From that year to date, “A tu Salud” has increased their workforce from 12 to 70 employees, more than 50 percent of whom are older women allowing them to have a decent job and a steady and secure income. “A tu Salud” has grown in its relationship with Walmart Mexico, from just a few stores in Mexico City in 2012 to selling in 547 stores across the country today. In 2015, the sales of “A tu Salud” had a growth of 62 percent. Emma’s main objectives are to raise awareness among consumers that you can eat rich and healthy and support the inclusion of women in the formal labor sector
