Ms. Gabriela Leon is a Mexican entrepreneur and innovator, co-founder and CEO of Gresmex, S.A. de C.V. a company at the forefront of the nanotechnology research and development. She has been member of the Standardization Committee in the field of nanotechnology since 2010; participated in different domestic and international forums such the International Day of the Intellectual Property, organized by the Mexican Institute of Intellectual Property; Expo Ingenio; the American Forum of UN SMEs; the Entrepreneur Week organized by INADEM; the EY’s Strategic Growth Forum; the U.S.-Mexico High Level Regulatory Cooperation Council; the Stakeholder session of the U.S.-Mexico High Level Economic Dialogue; and, the APEC Business to Global Markets. She has received numerous awards and recognitions; Gresmex was selected as Endeavor in 2012; she was designated Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young in the social impact category in 2012; DWEN Network Member & Dell Women Entrepreneur in 2013; won the 3rd place for technological innovation by the ADIAT Awards in 2014. Her company was also appointed as strategic with nationwide priority by the Mexican Ministry of Economy and was nominated as a World Economic Forum 2015 Technology Pioneer. Ms. Leon graduated from the School of Engineering in Industrial Biochemistry UAM.
