Claudia Raunich

Vice President, Human Resources, American Express Latin America
Claudia Raunich graduated from Salvador University in Buenos Aires with a bachelor´s degree in psychology. Her post graduate studies include a degree in organizational psychology from Belgrano University and a human resources leadership program at INSEAD in France.
 
She began working for American Express in 1991 and has spent more than 20 years within the Human Resources department, beginning as a trainer and coordinator before moving on to become the Global Talent Manager for the company in Argentina. In 2003, Claudia was transferred to Miami, where she served as Talent Development Leader for the Latin America region and Canada for a period of three years, developing strategies for and coordinating on regional HR initiatives.
 
She followed up her time in the United States with a two-year assignment in Madrid, designing and delivering the human capital plan for American Express in Spain. In 2009, she went back to Buenos Aires in order to take over the position of HR Relationship Leader, designing the company’s human capital plan for the Southern Cone as well as for Panama and Puerto Rico while also functioning as an executive coach.
 
Claudia began her current position in Mexico City in September of 2012. As Vice President of Human Resources for Latin America, she is responsible for improving the human capital outcomes that affect the company’s performance in the region. As her international work experience can testify, Claudia is fluent in both English and Spanish.
