Ana Lopez Mestre

Vice President and Director General, American Chamber of Commerce, Mexico
Ana is an attorney at law graduated from the Universidad Iberoamericana with a degree in Political Communication from the Institute for Social Research at the UNAM. She also undertook postgraduate studies at the Oxford Leadership Academy and the Institute of Business Development Anahuac.
 
She has served at the Business Coordinating Council twice, during 2007-2012 period and this year. Her latest position was as Director of Institutional Relations reporting to the President and General Director.
 
She also has experience in the government sector, serving during a year in the Senate - LXII Legislature- as Head of Office of Senator Luis Armando Melgar. Moreover, she held a position at the Presidency of the Republic from 2002 to 2006 as part of the First lady´s team.
 
Ana is bilingual and is an active member of various institutions aimed at promoting social responsibility and bringing support to fora related to young people training.
