Luz Adriana Ramírez Chávez has been appointed as Country Manager of Visa Mexico since August 2013.
Ramírez Chávez, brings more than 20 years of extensive experience in consumer and commercial finance to Visa. She is responsible for all business operations in the country and relationships management with financial institutions and key stakeholders.
Before Visa, Luz Adriana was President for Latin America at Karum, a U.S. based company; for 17th years she worked in diverse business areas of General Electric and leaded the Latin America’s GE Women Network. Her functions were focused on leading commercial, finance, operations and functional support areas.
She was born in Mexico City, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad La Salle and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, Monterrey.
