Carrie Hall is Chief of Communications for the United Nations Global Compact, overseeing the communications and brand strategy for the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, with a diverse audience of 13,000 corporate and non-business signatories in 170 countries, as well as Government and UN stakeholders.
In her role, Carrie is responsible for stakeholder communications, media relations, website/digital and publications – spanning a broad issue portfolio including climate change, water, gender equality, human rights, labour standards, anti-corruption, peace and rule of law.
Prior to joining the UN Global Compact in 2004, Carrie was a Vice President at Hill & Knowlton, an international public relations agency, where she specialized in crisis communications. She holds a Masters in Public Administration from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University.
