As the Executive Director for the Saint Paul Public Schools' Office of College and Career Readiness, I work to provide systems level leadership within both the traditional and alternative educational settings so that all students may learn, develop, and achieve greatness in college and/or career. I taught and coached youth as a professional for seven years and have eight years of leadership experiences working as a central office administrator and High School Assistant Principal and Principal. In addition to being bilingual at the intermediate level in Spanish, I also provide leadership at the international level in my country of origin, Samoa. Communication, human capital development, leadership, collaboration, and team-building are areas of strength. Currently, I am attending the University of St. Thomas as a doctoral student and will be graduating in 2017 with an education doctorate in Leadership. The title of my dissertation is, "Uncovering Indigenous Models of Leadership: A Case Study of the Talavou Clan." Finally, I am the CEO and co-owner of a Minnesota based, DBE certified consulting firm with my father in law called, “TE2: Education and Engineering, LLC,” which provides consultative services in the fields of education and engineering.
