Reggie has over twenty years of state and local government executive leadership.  Prior to his appointment in 2015 as Community Development Specialist with the U.S. Department of Agriculture – Rural Development Division, he served as City Manager for the City of East Point, GA and CEO of the Marietta Redevelopment Corporation.

He holds a national certification as an Economic Development Finance Professional from the National Development Council.  He holds a Masters of Science Degree in Business Management from Cardinal Stritch University Milwaukee, Wisconsin and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina.

In his current position, Reggie is responsible for assisting rural communities, counties, and economic development entities with strategic community planning, broadband development, and homeownership programs.  He serves as the USDA’s Local Foods Local Place representative a joint community building program with EPA.
