Ms. Love is a part of Technology Audit where she serves as Vice President, Innovations and Enterprise Transformation Audit. She leads the Analytics & Innovation team which includes harnessing data and automation to transform Audit. Ms. Love is also responsible for the audit book of work relative to the company’s transformation agenda, Enterprise Data Services and related platforms.
Prior to Corporate Audit Services, Ms. Love served as Vice President, Insights & Culture Transformation as well as Chief of Staff to the President of the Bank, Kleber Santos. As part of the Office of the President, she led the Bank’s central Communications team and the “Insight to Incite” team, a central customer insights and analytics function that builds knowledge products to help place consumer insights at the heart of decision-making.
Ms. Love’s childhood in West Java, Indonesia, taught her firsthand the need for social and economic development. This drove her to study International Development at the University of Oxford, where she earned both her Masters and her DPhil (PhD), leaning heavily on the discipline of anthropology, conducting ethnographic fieldwork that spanned everything from rural Indonesian villages to central government institutions. Her academic and service career spanned nearly a decade working in social and public sectors with different NGOs and government institutions in Indonesia, India, Bangladesh, Uzbekistan, and Mauritania, largely focusing on gender equality and reproductive health.
Ms. Love’s transition to the private sector – in search of a different toolkit for affecting change from within – led her to become a consultant with McKinsey. During this time, she primarily served financial services, focusing on commercial and personal P&C insurance, retail banking,
and public finance. She led multiple large-scale transformations, working in the intersection of organizational and operational change, and was a leader in McKinsey’s Organization Practice.
After more than five years of consulting, Ms. Love left McKinsey’s D.C. office as an Associate Partner for an opportunity to use her strategic problem-solving and data-driven decision-making to lead change within a Fortune 500 organization by joining Capital One’s headquarters in McLean, Va.
