The AmerisourceBergen Foundation, a not-for-profit charitable giving organization focused on supporting health-related causes that enrich the global community, committed more than $75,000 to support relief efforts in the communities affected by Hurricane Dorian.
The Foundation has made its targeted donations to both regional and national organizations focused on supporting relief efforts in the Bahamas and Southeast United States, including the Grand Bahama Disaster Relief Foundation, GreaterGood.org, Wings of Rescue, Healthcare Ready and the American Red Cross. In addition, the Foundation has committed to match AmerisourceBergen associate donations made to the American Red Cross through the Foundation’s matching gift program, myCommunityImpact, at a 2:1 ratio. The Foundation continues to closely monitor all impacted areas with the goal of identifying additional opportunities to support organizations and communities in need.
