American Airlines has activated its disaster response fundraising platform where customers and team members can assist those in need. From now through Sept. 20, AAdvantage members can earn 10 miles for every dollar donated to the Red Cross with a minimum $25 donation. During the month of September, AA is also dedicating all funds collected inflight through its UNICEF Change for Good program to benefit the children in the Bahamas who have been affected by Dorian. In addition, the carrier sent a 737 relief flight from Miami to Nassau on Sept. 5 to deliver more than 14,000 pounds of relief supplies.
