Atlantis Paradise Island has established the Atlantis Bahamas Hurricane Dorian Relief Fund with 100% of the proceeds going to the Bahamas Red Cross to help fund relief efforts.
The hotel also partnered with chef Jose Andres and his World Central Kitchen team, using the resort's kitchens to assemble meals for the people of Grand Bahama and the Abacos. The resort also coordinated a shipment of medical supplies donated by Baptist Health.
In addition, Atlantis and Brookfield Asset Management pledged $3 million to benefit Hurricane Dorian relief efforts. Donation sites at Brookfield's office in New York and Atlantis' office in Plantation, Fla., have been set up to collect supplies, which will be delivered by relief organizations.
