Citizens Bank in Providence, Rhode Island, has announced a commitment of $5 million in support of communities and businesses impacted by the coronavirus. The Community Support Relief program will provide funding in support of coronavirus-related efforts in regions where the bank operates — including Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island — while its Small Business Relief and Recovery program will provide funding and other assistance in the coming months to small businesses in the three states.
