Aramark has a long history of working to create healthier communities, and their latest initiative is no different. Earlier this month, the company announced Healthy for Life 20 by 20, a new program to improve the health of all Americans 20% by 2020.
Objective: The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation Corporate Citizenship Center (CCC) and its supporters know that healthy communities are vital to economic growth. Each year, we hold a learning tour to see first-hand how innovations in corporate citizenship are happening on the ground. In 2016, we will hold an “Accelerating a Healthy America” learning tour in Minneapolis-St Paul to enable corporate citizenship practitioners to visit model community wellness programs with their peers, and to discuss challenges and solutions to implementing these programs.

Many clear links between education and health exist, and corporations and their partners can better leverage these linkages for greater returns on integrated philanthropic programs.
