Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion By Design

Join us on March 25 as Digital Empowers convenes leaders recognized for inclusive design to provide insights on equity and tech-powered solutions and partnerships in two areas: workplace culture and financial services. Speakers will showcase not only how their technology addresses diversity, equity, and inclusion by their solutions, but also how their design and process were informed by that mission.

Symba Wins First Digital Empowers ‘Pitch for Purpose’ Competition

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation and Tata Consultancy Services’ (TCS) have announced the winner for the inaugural Pitch for Purpose competition. Held in conjunction with the 3rd annual Digital Empowers Summit, the competition featured six mission-driven founders whose startups are leveraging technology to address social and environmental challenges – from eliminating food insecurity to providing a crowdfunding platform for Black entrepreneurs.

Digital Empowers' Pitch for Purpose competition—organized by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), in collaboration with SEED SPOT—will recognize mission-driven founders whose startups leverage emerging technology and innovation to address social and environmental challenges.   

Bridging the Digital Divide

On August 26, Digital Empowers facilitated a conversation with broadband policy experts, technologists, and industry leaders to learn about the complexities of broadband deployment and adoption, technology transformation, and multi-sector collaborations addressing digital inequity in rural, low-income, and historically marginalized communities .

Third Annual Digital Empowers Summit

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has and will forever reshape our world—from the way companies do business and engage their value chains, to the way governments and nonprofits reach and empower communities. 

Cross-sector collaboration, leadership, and investment in tech-driven solutions and diverse perspectives are now more important than ever to accelerate innovation and bring about greater equality of opportunity for all.
