Dr. Francoise Adan is a medical doctor with an entrepreneurial spirit.
With dual degrees in family medicine and psychiatry, she is the Medical Director of the UH Connor Integrative Health Network at University Hospitals. In addition, she speaks frequently to businesses and organization about the importance of stress management, mindfulness and resiliency.
At University Hospitals, she created a special training program called S.M.A.R.T. (Stress Management and Resiliency Training), which helps businesses bring cost-effective, stress-resilience training to employees.
More than 20 corporations and organizations, including Eaton Corp., The Sherwin-Williams Company and Case Western Reserve University, have used the S.M.A.R.T. program. In addition, Dr. Adan has been a keynote speaker for numerous organizations throughout the country.
What makes her so effective is she offers simple, practical tools that everyone--from top executives to entry-level workers--can use to manage stress immediately. Her goal is not to eliminate stress, but to harness its power.
Dr. Adan, who is fluent in French, is a breast cancer survivor and the mother of two grown children. She is a yoga instructor and gourmet cook who enjoys skiing and dancing.
