Elizabeth Ferruelo is Director of Foundation Relations at i.c.stars, a technology focused workforce development nonprofit. Prior to joining i.c.stars in 2015, Elizabeth held senior roles in nonprofit program development, communications, and donor engagement. As a contributor to the Forbes Ashoka Social Entrepreneurship blog, she has written about topics including community development, sustainability and volunteerism.
Elizabeth’s interests range from languages – she speaks French, Spanish, and German – to sustainability and water conservation, which she nurtured through her participation in the Chicago Conservation Corps. She earned a master’s from the Institute of Political Studies in Toulouse, France, and a bachelor’s from Boston University.
