Ms. Graziella Siciliano joined the Environmental Defense Fund in October 2017 as Senior Manager for Carbon and Energy, to lead the design of collaborative partnerships with business to advance clean energy in company supply chains.
Previously, Ms. Siciliano worked at the U.S. Department of Energy to support domestic and international energy efficiency efforts. While there, Ms. Siciliano was coordinator for the Energy Management Working Group (EMWG)/ The EMWG is a multi-lateral effort of 17 governments within the Clean Energy Ministerial and the International Partnership for Energy Efficiency Cooperation to promote policies and programs that encourage and facilitate the transition to a global clean energy economy. Working with government experts from member countries, Ms. Siciliano builds collaboration on strategies to accelerate implementation of energy efficiency practices in the industrial and commercial sectors worldwide.
Before joining the U.S. Department of Energy, Ms. Siciliano worked for three years as a Program Manager at the U.S. non-profit Alliance to Save Energy on programs focused on building capacity of utilities to implement demand –side management programs and increasing public procurement of energy efficient appliance and equipment.
Ms. Siciliano earned a B.A. in Political Science from Butler University (2002) and a M.A. in Energy and Environmental Policy and Economics from the Johns Hopkins University – School of Advanced International Studies (2009).
