Josh Lasky leads the Sustainable Communities practice at LINK Strategic Partners, a strategic communications and community engagement firm headquartered in Washington, DC. Through a variety of projects, LINK works to advance equity, resilience, and livability with clients across government, non-profit, education, and corporate sectors. Prior to joining LINK, Josh worked to build strategic partnerships in various roles at the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), and had served as an adjunct professor and sustainability manager at the University of the District of Columbia. Earlier in his career, Josh was a sustainability strategy consultant for the Cadmus group and helped to start The George Washington University’s Office of Sustainability while attending graduate school as a Presidential Administrative Fellow. Josh earned his master’s in public administration with an individualized concentration in urban sustainability from GW, where he also graduated magna cum laude from the university honors program with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a minor in geography. Josh is a member of the board of directors of the Greater Washington Urban League as well as Climate Ride, two organizations that promote healthy, sustainable, resilient communities for all.
