During her 14 years with FedEx Ground, Kristian has held several roles within the company and has led numerous process improvement and cost-saving projects. In her current role, Kristian manages FedEx Ground's multi-facted waste and recycling program for the entire domestic market. A two-time recipient of the Five Star Award, FedEx's most prestigious award, Kristian manages projects that support the company's sustainability goals for 2020 and beyond. She is responsible for the implementation of a single-sourced vendor managed system designed to increase landfill diversion rates through improved recycling efforts and streamlined business processes. Additionally, Kristian collaborates closely with external vending partners and stakeholders to enhance FedEx Ground's position on being a responsible corporate citizen. Kristian believes very strongly in the idea of "paying it forward". Her public service commitments include volunteer work with the American Association of University Women (AAUW) Pennsylvania and membership with the United Way's Women's Leaders Council (WLC). In 2018, Kristian was elected to the Board of Directors for the Pittsburgh Urban Leadership Service Experience (PULSE), a nonprofit whose mission is to cultivate a community of young servant leaders to transform Pittsburgh. She earned her MBA in Public Administration from Strayer University and her BBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Oklahoma.
