Mary Jo is a Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at Allstate Insurance Company. She leads the Investment Team in Investments and Business Transactions Law providing legal advice for all investment strategies including structured financings, fund investing, distressed securities, and opportunistic investing. She currently leads Allstate’s Law Department’s Mentoring Program and is on the Law Department’s Talent Council. She is a co-founder of Leading Investments Women, a networking women’s group at Allstate.
Mary Jo is the Co-Chair of the Cabrini Green Legal Aid Advisory Board and leads Allstate’s pro bono collaboration with Cabrini Green in Clemency and Expungment work. She is also a member of the American College of Investment Counsel and a member of its Education Committee. Mary Jo is also on the Board of Trustees of the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire Foundation and the Board of Trustees for Equip for Equality, an Illinois disability rights organization.
Mary Jo received her B.S. with highest honors from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and her J.D., from University of California-Hastings College of Law, where she was a Tony Patino Fellow.
