Roberta Ressler is the Global Actives to Products (A2P) R&D Leader for Dow AgroSciences (DAS) and is responsible for Process Chemistry, Formulation Development, Formulation Process Development, Product Chemistry and Characterization, and Applications Technology for the Crop Protection business.
Roberta joined Dow in 1989 in Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing in Midland, Michigan, where she held various roles in production, R&D, capital project management, and process scale-up. In 2000, she joined the Cargill Dow joint venture (now NatureWorks LLC) in plant operations and process control in Blair, Nebraska. In 2002, she joined Dow AgroSciences in Formulation Development and Global Sample Services in Indianapolis, Indiana. In 2005, she moved to Regulatory, having responsibility as a Regulatory Team Leader and leading the Quality Assurance Unit for Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) for Dow AgroSciences R&D. From 2007 to 2013, she held various roles of increasing responsibility in Quality, ultimately becoming Quality Director for Dow AgroSciences, and having responsibility for all aspects of quality and product regulatory compliance for both the Crop Protection business and the Seeds, Traits, and Oils business. In 2013, she was named to her current role.
Roberta is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and the American Society for Quality (ASQ).
Roberta earned her B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University.
