Even before the COVID-19 public health crisis, finding quality, affordable childcare was a barrier to the workforce for many working parents. The pandemic exacerbated numerous issues in an already fragile childcare system and a lack of childcare options presents a significant roadblock for parents to re-enter the workforce. There is no silver bullet to solve this problem but the need to create a childcare system to fully support working parents and the businesses in which they work has never been clearer. Join us for the next event in the Talent Forward virtual series as we address how state and federal governments, the business community, and childcare providers can collaborate to provide effective solutions.

The pandemic has decimated industries across the country. The K-shaped recovery illustrates where jobs have been lost and where they may never return. How will we leverage the talent of Americans who have been displaced and need new skills to get back to work? Reskilling for in-demand jobs with new platforms and new ways of delivering training can’t wait for the future—the time is now.

On this episode of Talent Forward, we will focus on creating equitable pathways into the workforce. The pandemic has been particularly disruptive for women and people of color. We will discuss real solutions for students and workers, particularly for these groups, to support their entry, or re-entry, to career opportunities.
