Araella Bruerd is an innovation scholar at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. Her interests lie in sustainable development, artificial intelligence, and the shifting tides of strategic competition. She was most recently an analyst at a think tank, researching Chinese financial flows and their ties to developing countries. Araella is a graduate of William and Mary, where she studied Mandarin, global development, and international relations. Prior to University, Araella spent seven years in Kenya, Uganda, and Cambodia.
