
Brian Alvarado

Brian L. Alvarado serves as Senior Director of Strategic Impact and Engagement at Hiring Our Heroes, an initiative of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. In this role, he leads the execution of high-impact strategic engagements and flagship events that advance the organization’s mission, translating enterprise priorities into disciplined execution, stakeholder engagement, and revenue-generating outcomes. He oversees a cross-functional team and partners closely with senior leaders across business, government, and the nonprofit sector to drive collaboration, expand national reach, and strengthen workforce solutions for the military community.
Previously, Brian served for more than seven years as Director of Military Spouse Programs at Hiring Our Heroes, where he led one of the organization’s cornerstone initiatives focused on reducing military spouse unemployment and underemployment nationwide.
Brian is a graduate of the Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy’s Nonprofit Executive Management Program and is pursuing an advanced degree in Public Policy at Georgetown. As a military spouse, he has served as a Naval Command Ombudsman and held multiple Family Readiness Group leadership roles. He was the 2018 U.S. Navy Spouse of the Year™ and has received national recognition for his leadership and service to the military community.
