Brooke Prouty is vice president of digital, technology, and communications at Hiring Our Heroes, an initiative of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. In this role, she leads the organization’s digital strategy, infrastructure, and communications efforts, driving innovation and expanding reach across themilitary-connected community.

Since joining Hiring Our Heroes more than a decade ago, Prouty has played a key role in shaping the organization’s digital and communications strategy, aligning technology initiatives with mission-driven goals. She has led the development of several groundbreaking digital tools—including ResumeEngine.org, MilSpouseRoadmap.org, and the HOH Dashboard—and has overseen communications efforts thathave helped the organization connect with over one million members of the military community.

Prouty brings a deep background in technology and communications, with previous roles at military service organizations and in the media industry. Her approach to technology is rooted in mission-aligned innovation and user-first design—ensuring that digital tools solve real problems, enhance efficiency, and integrate seamlessly into users’ workflows.

She earned her undergraduate degree with honors from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College and her Master of Liberal Arts from Harvard University.
