Elizabeth (Liz) Scruggs currently serves as director of development at Hiring Our Heroes, an initiative of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, where she directs the organization’s grant portfolio. As a seasoned sales and fundraising executive with a track record of scaling revenue and optimizing operations for mission-driven organizations, Liz specializes in building high-value, public-private partnerships that align strategic business goals with sustainable organizational growth.
Driving bottom-line results and building scalable infrastructures are hallmarks of her leadership. Previously, Liz led revenue operations for a rapidly growing talent marketplace for military-connected professionals. By optimizing the sales organization and accelerating pipeline growth, she positioned the company to successfully close a Series A funding round led by a global private equity firm.
