Melissa Fwu

Melissa Fwu is executive director of special projects at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. Prior to this role, she was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, where she focused on public finance and transformation.

Her public service experience includes serving as special assistant to the president and director of business engagement in the Office of Public Liaison at the White House. There, she played a key coordinating role in driving industry engagement for landmark policy initiatives, including the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).

Earlier in her career, Melissa served at the U.S. Department of Transportation as special assistant to the secretary and held various roles in state and national political campaigns.
