Rowan Bishop
- Director, Development
Rowan Bishop is director of development at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, where she cultivates corporate partnerships and engagement strategies that advance the Foundation's work. In her role, she collaborates with companies, foundations, and nonprofit leaders to build strategic partnerships that help businesses address pressing societal challenges while creating lasting value for their employees and communities.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Rowan served on the Member Relations team at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, leading engagement strategy for executive member programs and events. She managed a portfolio of intimate convenings that brought together C-suite leaders to discuss the most pressing policy and business issues facing the country, while also supporting the Chamber's Communities of Practice for Women Leaders, Chief Financial Officers, Chief Communications Officers, and Government Affairs Leaders.
Before joining the Chamber, Rowan supported external relations and stakeholder engagement efforts for the Metropolitan Policy Program at the Brookings Institution. She previously worked at the Lung Cancer Alliance.
Rowan earned her bachelor's degree from Georgetown University and completed a semester-long course with the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), an experience she still considers one of the most formative of her life.
Outside of work, Rowan spends as much time as possible in the mountains hiking, fly fishing, and skiing. She is also an avid live music fan and enjoys attending concerts whenever she can.
