Shannon Courtney is Associate Manager of Workforce at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. In this role, she supports the Talent Pipeline Management® (TPM) initiative, working with employers, education providers, and community partners to build talent supply chains that address critical workforce challenges.

Previously, Shannon was a Senior Program Associate at the IRI, where she managed international development projects across Latin America, focusing on economic development, democratic governance, and civic inclusion. Shannon also served as a Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI) intern at the U.S. State Department, where she developed campaigns on sustainability, leadership and anti-corruption for a network of 60,000+ young leaders across the Western Hemisphere.

Shannon holds a M.A in International Relations from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), specializing in Security, Strategy, and Statecraft in the Americas. She graduated summa cum laude from UCLA with a B.A in Political Science and Spanish.
